spaghetti, spaghatti: The Ten Minute Meal

Love pasta, but can't justify the calories? Try this healthy, low calorie alternative: Zucchini Pasta.

I made this recipe tonight for dinner- it was SO easy and SO good!

What you'll need:
- Zucchini (I recommend 2 zucchini's per person)
- Spaghetti Sauce
- Parmesan (optional)
- A peeler
- Large Pan

Steps:
1. Rinse zucchini off in the sink
2. Peel the zucchini into a large pan
3. Roast the zucchini on the stove for approx. 10 min.
4. Ready to serve!

Beauty in Ten

Did you snooze your alarm? Sleep in? Lose track of time? 

Well here's my solution to looking put together in about ten minutes...

Makeup Tips:

First and foremost, keep your makeup simple. During the day, less really is more. 

I usually stick to bronzer/blush, mascara, and a pop of color on my lips. Try using a bright pink lipstick,  making it look like your makeup works coherently. This adds some dimension to your face when you don't have the time to get all made up.

Hair Tips:
If I'm really in a hurry, I'll style a quick up-do, usually a sock bun, low messy bun, or a high ponytail with an accessorized headband. If I do have a few minutes to spare, a quick fix is a flat iron or simply a few loose curls. 

Clothing Tips:

My attire during the week usually consists of pants and a cute top, because I don't feel the need to dress like a superstar when I'm only going to class. But, a quick solution in an outfit crisis would be a cute dress because that's that, and the outfit is instantly complete.

Accessories Tips:
When I'm in a hurry I like to keep accessories to a minimum., but I do believe in a few statement pieces. I like to wear a large ring or a long necklace that makes a strong impression with one bold piece.

My roommate and I took some time (as we were running late in the morning) to photograph our beauty in only ten minutes. What do you think?

Beauty in ten minutes is really possible, but always remember true beauty is not all about appearance...

Remember, even if you're in a rush, breakfast is the most important meal of the day! If you're a Starbucks fan like this gal, try the nonfat green tea frappacino...it will change your life in only 150 calories!

Spring Fling

Unfortunately my spring break has consisted of watching Netflix and basking in my misery while in still snows in Wisconsin, so my friend and I decided to take a trip to Chicago for some sight seeing and retail therapy :) Check out our adventure...It's not about where you go, it's about who you're with!
